St. Mary’s Junior College, Basheer Bagh, Hyderabad, was the first of the five institutions established by St. Mary’s Educational Society. The college was established in 1982 at Chaderghat. As a forerunner in the field of providing quality intermediate education for boys. St. Mary’s Junior Collegehas since grown to be a co-educational institution where more than 1000 girls and boys pass out every year.

Based on the success of St. Mary’s Junior College, Basheer Bagh, Hyderabad and the growing need for quality intermediate education, a second campus of St. Mary’s Junior College was started as part of St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda, Hyderabad in 2002. Keeping in view of the increasing demand for quality intermediate education, it has now been relocated to a new campus at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

When the leadership of Krishnapatnam Port, through their CSR wing (theCVR Foundation), wanted to make a difference to the lives of boys and girls from socially and economically less fortunate families on the outskirts of Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), they decided to partner with St Mary’s Educational Society. The collaboration resulted in the setting up of Navaneeta Public School, a world-class residential school providing high-quality education to those who can’t afford it.The focus at Navaneeta is to develop latent capabilities in these youngsters to compete and thrive in tomorrow’s world – a potential they or their parents may not be able to realize. We are determined to ensure that our students have an equal beginning as students of any other good school and do no start with a lag.
